Do Nvidia 295`s have the same issues as Ati 4870X2s

No! If you look in the right places.

I'm not too sure what you mean. Don't most people who have a core 2 board have an intel one because they have the intel chipsets? Or do you mean boards manufactured and sold by intel? Like their 'bad axe' ones for example? I'm pretty sure anyone who has an NFarce based board is just to run SLi?

Such a shame about NFarce chipsets, NForce II was such a good chipset, I'd have to say it's my favourite chipset to date, every subsequent one has been a big disappointment to me at least.

Yawn.

Shall we compare FPS in a 5 game selection of of your choice? Or perhaps you would like to compare Vantage scores?

Would that 5 game selection be the same as NV's 'hand picked' 5 game selection too? :D

As we all know 3D marks are generally poo, though it can be fun to get as many as you can, they don't mean too much.

I'd be interested to see these frame rates though. I'm pretty sure that the move from 1 295 to 2 295s yeilds a performance increase of on average about 10-20% in most games, and a bit more in a very small amount of games.

Same goes for 4870X2 Crossfire too really. Right?

If you look on forums that mostly has Intel users then you will get more posts from Intel users about issues.

If you look on forums that mostly has AMD users then you will get more posts from AMD users about issues.

You take a 1000 AMD users & a 1000 Intel users & then work out the avg ATI crossfire issue between that group.

Looking back over the history of Crossfire & its availability you will see that until at least the 3870X2 came out & the license for crossfire on Intel motherboards the issue of what we are seeing here rarely came up as everyone was running on AMD chip set for crossfire.

When your using an Intel Chip set you have to be allot more careful of the combination of motherboard & crossfire combination.

I have had so little issue withy CF from 1800xt 1900xt 3870xt that i find it hard to grasp at why others have so many problems & the only thing that i have done is consistently use AMD chipsets with crossfire & wait for mature drivers & refresh hardware.

Issues of not having CF support for a game is not the issue at had.
