Do these GPU temps look ok while gaming?

Well I lowered the Power Limit % in the Adrenalin software by -10% and now have these temps...



Started using HWiNFO as it shows the hotspot temps, couldn't notice any difference in frame rates and its a bit cooler.

It wouldn’t load windows just got stuck with the spinning circle. So I somehow managed to get it into a recovery mode where I did a system restore from 10/06/26 which worked.

It’s back to the way it was in the adrenaline software before I undervolted it. I guess the undervolt wasn’t stable. Won’t be trying that again and it didn’t make much difference anyway.

Well a few days ago it started doing the same thing after I set a custom GPU power limit. So I stopped doing that then it did it without a custom power limit set. So I did a fresh Windows install and then I set the custom power limit again.

So far it’s been running fine, shutting down ok and no problems booting, I don’t want to jinx it but hopefully the fresh install sorted it out.

Well I had an AMD driver timeout a few days ago, so I set the power limit back to default then ran the game that caused it for an hour with no further problems. After which I realized I had a game profile setup for Assetto Corsa EVO which was setting the power limit back to -10 automatically when the game was run.

So I can’t be sure that setting the power limit to default was definitely the fix of the driver timeout and I’m not inclined to set it back to test it. The main affect of lowering the power limit was a lower hotspot temp the main temperature improvements came from setting a custom fan curve.
