I think I know who it is (not sure if the TKC nick is the same or not yet), and I hope he takes my advice and posts on their forums (when they're up...) asking for his fraudulant kliks to be removed.

If he doesn't do that I'll post on their forums (unless anyone beats me :p).

I wouldn't be saying anything different but re-iterate what others have said if I expressed my opinions. But seeing as it's in the open anyway, I feel no guilt in telling you dudester's forum name: lay-z-boy.

Let's not all jump down the guy's throat please. While the submissions are clearly dodgy and need to be removed, a drumhead-style trial and conviction will serve us no purpose whatsoever.

We don't condone cheating and will root out those who do, but accidents have been known to happen. I personally have doubts this was an accident, but that still does not rule it out.
 
thanks a lot peeps, thats all i need when i dump after not dumping for aons on my rig and my dads laptop & work rig

he types **** loads of letters and writes presentations and i have been writeing my numerous courseworks on my main rig but if you think i cheat and want to have ago at me fine. by all means do it

i feel bad now thanks to all of your comments as i do try to help the team with my typeing
 
Well null told me on MSN that you said you were gonna "do it" and by that I inferred and so did he that you meant "dump loads of keys by cheating."

If you're on a laptop, you don't have a scrollwheel anyway.

Also - your dad should be on a separate account.

Lastly, your rig + main rig + laptop = 3 setups, but those submissions, if real, must come from 5 systems, right?

Sorry dude, but I don't believe you. I belive the 264k submission to be real but no more than that.

It all rests on exactly what you meant in your MSN conversation with null, and whether any meaning was lost when null told me (which was why my first post was so certain).

Just watching out for the team dude....look back in the thread (if you have a few hours to spare) and there's been past occurences of cheats and accidents.
 
well can you delete them please i only dumped once on 3 pc's

one with about 320 odd k one with 270 and another with about 60 k

my internet router was playing up last night and i seemed to be doing duoble posts on the forum i was on and was dumping at the same time
i was thinking of it as i know how to do it but i decided not to in the end
 
I don't know personally if you were or weren't cheating and frankly I don't care too much, this is meant to be a light-hearted thing and realistically if someone is cheating they are just not playing the game.

What I will say though is that the number of keypresses, scrolls and clicks are almost identical in four of the five submissions on October 6th and all within five minutes of each other, that looks decidedly dodgy on first glance. It might be perfectly legit and I hope it is but it doesn't quite fit with previous typing patterns which can act as a rough guide. The main problem is that you haven't put in your profile that you are submitting from more than one account(your dads laptop strictly speaking shouldn't even be considered as it isn't your typing) and also that for three separate computers to have almost exactly the same output raises eyebrows especially as there were five submissions inside the five minutes.

Much appreciated....cheating/getting false keystrokes is just not playing the game and takes out the point of the entire exercise, which is a bit of fun :)
 
lay-z-boy, on behalf of myself (and I hope the team), I apologise for any upset comments made in here may have caused. Maybe this will be a lesson for all of us (myself included) that we should be a little less quick to judge those who we suspect of wrongdoing.

Of course, this should not stop us from being vigilent to ensure that cheating does not occur, but we should give those accused a reasonable chance to explain what has happened.
 
He didn't tell me his was going to do it on MSN, it was real life (same year at school). And I'm certain they were deliberate cheating attempts - he even explained to me how he was going to create multiple copies of the TKC folder and go through them all. Now, I still think he was pretty stupid and unfair to do that but if the fakes have been deleted I am willing to drop it from discussion on here, as I can tell it won't get anyone anywhere.

edit - the thing about his router crashing is a load of rubbish because for several weeks now he has been shoving it down my throat about how stable his router is (inspired by my dissappointment that my now ex-router was useless). Really, what are the chances that it could have been that!

All this talk of cheating has got me thinking, how are any of you dumping over 100K within a few minutes or even hours of a previous dump. Just look at Beansprouts last dump:

I'm sure these will be legit, but how can you rack up so many klicks. I get cramp in my hands after bashing away to get 10K!

Any tips for creating bigger dumps?

^^ Perhaps he is running more than one computer counting his work, perhaps one is a work computer or something like that. I highly doubt that beany would cheat on us all.

My advice to you to get higer outputs is to spend perhaps double the amount of time you do at the moment on the forum :)
 
Yeah - I'm actually cheating, of course I am ;)

Great detective work, but you overlooked the "multiple computers" part :)

I can do 100k in a day, but 888k in a couple of hours....would test even davidmarq and gillybot :D
