Do you believe in ghosts?

I never thought sleep para had anything to do with ghosts tbh. I thought it was just my eyelids taking too long to open due to my brain wanting a few more zZz's.

I've had this four times in my life, and it was truly terrifying.

It's the feeling of dread combined with the certainty that there is a presence in the room. The experience was so bizarre.

I only found out about 'sleep paralysis' recently, and i'm actually grateful that it is a real medical thing and not due to a mental issue.

I never once thought it was ghosts, just me going crazy / having some kind of stroke.. In hindsight, out of the two options, belief in ghosts would have preferable.

Yep, I was lucky in that I already knew about sleep paralysis when it happened to me. I remember a high pitched ringing sound and being unable to move and feeling there is somebody there with you. It's very easy to see why people would think it was a ghost or spirit.

It can be combined with all sorts of things.
I've seen aliens, satan, snakes and all sorts whilst experience sleep paralysis.
It's easy to see why some people are so convinced of paranormal/religious stuff.
Put what's more likely that, or that the compounds that induce paralysis are still there whilst you wake up and that the dram part of the brain is still active.

As someone else has already said, explain the unexplainable with an even more far out explanation.

Of course they're real. A documentary was released not long ago about it that proved it, what was it called? Ah yes - Paranormal Activity

Oh man that's really weird, I've had that too. Was like something was screaming into my ear.

Warning: Following post makes me sound like an abused child.

I couldn't have been more then 4-5yrs old. And I remember it happened at least twice shortly after my Great Grand parents had passed away. I remember vividly, walking down the stairs and being able to feel the presence of two people, specifically an older Female and sometimes and older Male.
When I stood, and waited, and providing no one else was around/could see.. When I was stood on the 2/3rd step up, if I put my right hand on the end of the banister and waited, the female would lift me, or more like float me down the remaining steps and to the bottom.. And I specifically remember turning and saying Thankyou at one point.

This happened twice from memory and I remember trying again once or twice and not feeling the presence of the people ever again.

Now, I don't ever remember being on Crack as a child, but other then that, due to my vivid memory's of it, have no explanation for it.

Ecstasy you should not take, put it in your mouth you made a mistake, it ruins your mind, it ruins your body.
