I would like to as I have a 'fairly' unique Mondeo. Unfortunatley it looks EXACTLY the same as the bloody ST TDCi which has ruined this. So no.

New Mini drivers do it too.. normally I get a few waves/flashes back.

Some Octy vRS driver flashed or waved at me once shortly after I got it. Never happened since, and I gave up too.

Obviously nodding on the bike. Europe was nice waving the old left hand.

Am always tempted to wave when I see other nightfire red 5 door Rover 200s

. Never actually done it though

Edit: I always seem to say 'oh me too!' either in my head or out loud though. How cool am I?

Surprisingly a woman on Sunday in a nightfire red 600 like mine flashed and waved, I don't know if it was my cool sunglasses or not though!

She was quite hot too, God knows why she had a 600

Had some guy wave in another MR2 and a couple of other 106GTi/Rallye drivers, but its very very rare. Virtually every biker that passes gives a friendly nod though.

Mk1 MR2 drivers definitely do this

Other MR2s also sometimes do.

I've only ever owned cars who's drivers wave though! Classic Minis and Smart cars do it.

An MX5 driver waved the other day when we were out in the hire car too

The MG people are meant to do it. I rarely bother - usually only if I can see that the roof is down on the other car. Not had a wave back though. It's one of those things that it is better to have both hands on the steering wheel!

not read thread so not sure if its already been mentioned, but it started off from the scooby club and has reached all around the local cruise sites

ive noticed it a few times, but i never wave back and never bother to wave in first place

I can't even get to the end of my street without passing at least 2 of them, they are everywhere around here.
