Do you do it

Yup, get flashes or waves from other Integra's (only happened twice though, not many about round here)...but not breadvans or preludes etc...am i supposed to? :o
 
I used to give waves to other 4g Prelude owners when I drove mine.

If I see a Galant/Legnum, I'll occasionally give a wave, but I don't see enough of the VR-4's to really get a reaction - the non-VR-4 ones are usually driven by old blokes in caps...
 
Happened today, overtaking a smart 172 looked over and he gave the thumbs up and a nod and i continued to blast it past.

It's a nice feeling when fellow owners of certain motors acknowledge each others cars in my opinion, I know it's only a Renault Sport but you don't get the same sort of thing in something like a bog standard 1.2 as that would be silly?

I get it sometimes. Though not a huge amount of LCRs around my way. Have had someone flash at me, but I was way to slow to reply.

I would do it, if I saw another!
 
I never got waved to in the Dolomite when I passed other ones on the road, they always seem to be driven by old men. I got the "My brothers cousin use to have one of those..." at the petrol station a lot though. I do remember getting it a little sideways around a roundabout and a ~40 year old man gave me the thumbs up who was watching me. :p

I have waved at modded mx5's and got a few waves back though.
 
some guy in a suit called me a knob yesterday as he was driving his golf at 40mph+ down my bumpy street, he had to pull in and wait for me to pass

i was driving at about 10 mph (mega bumpy in the DC2)

does that count?

I'd hardly say that Skylines are an uncommon sight. Sure they're less common than Imprezas but at the rate they're flooding into the country at the moment they're about as rare as the Mitsubishi Delica.

I can drive to the local Tesco Express and see 2 or 3 Skylines, and 4 or 5 Imprezas
 
when in the t350 always to other tvr owners be it which ever model they drive, all to often if possible we will pull over and have a chat too. Funny thing really, but being passionate about something does funny things to people.

Funny you should mention that, I used to regularly pass a couple in a Dolomite on the way to work and the miserable pair would never wave back.
 
I will wave at modified VW's but thats it. Used to get a lot of attention when my car was slammed and was full of people. Had a bit of fun against a Astra who gave me the thumbs up which was nice. :)
 
In fact thinking about it when I had my 206 GTI I used to get flashed at and the thumbs up from some chav in a 206 Gran Turismo.
