As title really?

I'm wondering if people with more common names find it less unusual than those with 'rarer' names...

Talking about first names here people, just to clarify...

Feels weird to me as there's not many about, Worst still is when I meet one there is usually more than one.

I've only met two other people called Bleddyn

One was my age, the other was about 80 :D, yes I found it really strange. My mate called Max said he doesn't even flinch when people say maximum, you just get used to hearing your name I guess.

Yes it is quite strange. It's probably not so Strange if you are named Dave or Steve as there are loads of these around.

Doesn't bother me really.

If anything it just gives you something in common before the conversation begins.

My name is common, especially around my age range though luckily it was the same for everyone, so we are used to being called by our surnames. I have 2 others, with my nanme) in my close group of friends. We don't uses our first names though, normally surnames or nicknames.

Never met anyone with my name so far, but I've often thought it must be weird for all the daves out there.

yes, its also odd to work with someone with the same name... strange I have a common name but rarely work with someone who has the same name...

Never met another Capn' $qu!ff.

Only ever met one Stevan an that wasn't too confusing.

Met many Stef's though and that can get confusing as people shorten my name to Stev(thats right Stev not Steve[and definitely not ALAN!] notice the lack of e)

My names David, its not uncommon to have conversations with multiple Davids so not really. Do get confused wondering if someone is talking to me a lot though.

I'm George, my boss is George and I work with a Georgina, who likes to be known as George. At least our office is easy for people to learn the names :p
