Reasons to appreciate flashing.

You get a stretch of road like this (which is actually about 6-7 miles without anything that really constitutes a "corner")

But you get rozzers parked up behind this wall

Or down a side road behind the bushes

Yeah I'd take a bit of pre-warning of those over nothing!

It's not just about corners...playing devils advocate a little - both of those 'hiding spots' are at T junctions and have unbroken white lines so it's probably not a good idea to be speeding and/or overtaking through there anyway...
