Do you flash others to warn of speed cameras?

Just wondering how many others do.

I flash my lights or do simple hand gestures to warn of up coming mobile speed cameras if I've just passed one.

Only thing is most of the time people don't warn me. I've never been done for speeding but I think its just nice good willed motoring to warn others.

Be good to have a poll, simple yes or no.

I've been flashed, stopped me from getting a ticket as I was in a rush to get to work. Having reaped the benefits of being flashed, I now flash others :)

Yea if its a normal street where its 30 i wont warn people. But if its a duel Carriageway i will flash a few times, makes people slow down on the other side.

Flash lights, thumb down, international road rule 101 to indicate a speed camera or fuzz, taken from my dad in the early 70's and seemingly less common these days outside older drivers and lorry drivers.

Never heard this, gonna adopt it and tell everyone I know. I suggest everyone else do the same and maybe we can bring it back :p

Yes, its saved me a few times, the police love to set up traps on the road were I work as its a long, straight road through an industrial estate.

Yep, someone flashed me this morning as well which was jolly nice of them as I was doing a three figure speed in a 20 in front of a school whilst overtaking a cyclist and talking on the phone.

Kiiiiiding

Same but I was also going the wrong way down a one-way street. Not sure what the cyclist was playing at to be honest, chuffing child-killer!
