do you have a 'rag the nuts off it' route?

Ooo if I sort my brakes out today I will try that route. :)

There's another route past coombe abbey that I take quite regularly too, longer and it's a loop but it's not quite as interesting as the stoneleigh road.

Very nice roads between Cov and Leicester that vaguely follow the M69 - explore around :)

Becareful of the right-angle corner after the extremely thin hump-back bridge (just after stoneleigh) :)

I take a very fun back road all the way to work every day :)

The "Six Mile Bottom" stretch is good for highly illegal speeds most days.

This is the route that all folks from my town over a certain IQ take if they work north-side of Cambridge :p The only alternative includes the A1307 which is a death trap and full of idiots that don't understand the concept of merge in turn

Yes, but a bit dodgy when wet.

It's called 'Lower Burnham Road' usuallt full of bikers :D on the way to Woodham/Burnham.

It's full of twisties and huage straights that slope down, which is great as you can see any other cars a mile off to give you time to ease off :) .

Mine also as I live in burnham, makes my drive to work fairly interesting :p

This whenever I go to the cinema, full of sharp corners. I think the safe average speed is about 35-40 mph.....I average 50 most of the way.

This is also good for a quick blast. May not look much but the long straight actually has a couple of blind corners at the start with dips, so it's quite dangerous at speed.

the others at Grandchester leading to Cambridge if anyone knows that road.

This - LINK is a personal fav my mate and I used to cain every sunday, until he spanked it thru a hedge. If any one knows the b660 route, there is a really tight hair pin corner after the a14 and he forgot to take the corner and ploughed straight on!!

And the shefford - cardington router I have done many a time and enjoyed :)

Normally part of my route to work - great little road, can be traffic with HGVs and miss dasies that live in the villages, but plenty of overtaking places... majority is NSL/50, but starts at 40 at Woseley Bridge, and then again at Weston

And quite a black spot for accidents, not for nothing did the A51 get dropped to a 50 limit you know.

I live in Staffordshire and would rather take a blast across to Buxton to scrub some rubber...... ;)

Aberystwyth > Devils Bridge. Nothing beats it.

Damn right

When I had the Evo I regularly used to drive down there.

I'm from South Wales and my ex is from Aberyswyth, was great fun driving up there every weekend! :)

The stretch of road to work (Kaiowas knows the one) is the only place I give it 100% but thats only because I've driven it so many times. Its not long but its enough to cook my rubbish brakes so they are smoking like a trooper when I pull up in the car park :o
