Do you have your own towel?

Lawd....washing a towel after each use? That's basically a wash dedicated to towels each week, as opposed to once a month.

We use a towel each, but once it's washed it's whoevers afterwards, that could be after a week or more. Generally you are clean after a shower so the towel is just drying water.

What the hell am i reading in here?

People sharing used towels?

People using a towel once then putting it in the wash?

Bloody weirdos

You people make me sick! Flagrantly using towels and disgarding them, refusal to share! Do you know that the Co2 emissions created with each wash of a towel kills a baby seal?

 Would hate to pay your water/electric bills !

So you miss the part in the thread that says we wash them about once a month.... Just like others in this thread.

Why are people so up in arms about something they do differently :/. Just because it isn't the same method some people use, they act like you're committing a crime. it isn't like we have a law to abide by with towel usage.

I did miss that bit. You are aware that doesn't change the fact that you still wash them far more than is necessary hence my comment, clearly made in jest, actually still stands  After single use, once a month so that's around 30 towels at the end of the month, 60 towels if you live with a partner, add a couple of kids 120 towels. That's one ******* huge washing machine  Bet you do all that and still moan if someone leaves a tap dripping :D

If I felt the need to wash my towels after single use I would probably see a doctor. Sounds a bit OCD. Also you seem overly protective of your laundry routine :D

Now if I could afford to have someone else wash my bedding and make the bed every day, that I would sign up for :D Fresh bed linen every night, ah to live the dream.

Also I posted twice in a thread about towels, I think I need a hobby :o

Definitely have your own towels... Sharing towels seems wrong!

As for the washing issue - probably makes a difference where in the country you live... Washing towels after every use in the South-West would have you bankrupted by the end of the first week with the price of the water around here

I expect another uproar in a minute.... I don't feel the need to shower everyday. Every other day is more than enough:D

Although I'm at home for most of my time at the moment so it works out. When I was in work, I did tend to shower each day though. Depended how I felt after the days work.

I wonder if anyone takes an excessive amount of time in the shower. Wasting more water than is needed.

Question for the "I have my own towel and would never use someone else's it even if it had been boiled in bleach for 2 weeks"

Do you use the same logic for cutlery and crockery? Do you have your own assigned knife/fork/spoon which you, and only you will use for fear of contracting some terrible disease from a member of your family, and if it ever gets tainted with the saliva of another human, must be melted down and left on the side of the road for some ***** to collect?

i live on my own so yeah - but sharing towels is like sharing underwear, used underwear.
Even washed unless you did it at 95 degrees its going to be covered in other peoples 'stuff'.

I'm the opposite, I find it odd to use a towel multiple times before washing them. We use them once, wash them, then back on the towel shelf and used by anyone at home.

The thought of using them multiple times has never really entered my mind.
