I think only in the last few years has it started to become sold mainstream in supermarkets. Anyone know where I can get hold of loads of the stuff that's equally good but in bulk... cheap?

If you like jerky, what is your favourite? :)

jerkys lush, buy that pack from tesco's and it'a the cheapest you can get at 99p.
even ordering over the net is more expensive.

You now your rich would you can afford to eat jerky everyday.

jerkys lush,

I have lost all respect for you. The only people who are allowed to use that word are raging homosexuals and fat women who eat a tub of Haagen Das every night. AARRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Yes, beef jerky is very tasty. It's supposed to be very healthy too and whilst not entirely convinced, I still use it as an excuse to eat loads of it.

Make it yourself, much cheaper than buying it.

There are plenty of recipes on the internet, you just need an oven and a couple of trays.

Never tried it. I will next time I get the chance now.

Is it the beef equivalent of pork scratchings, or totally different?

Yes. (In fact I ate some of the Beef Jerky depicted in the image which is shown/linked to in the original post but yesterday, and it was very good in both texture, and taste).
