Sweet I'll look into that. I havent made any for ages......Just one of those things I keep putting off. The other problem is I'll make about 3kg worth and eat the lot in a week

Doesn't have to be that expensive. I treat myself to 2kg of home made Biltong (silverside) every few weeks, £12 ish.

I don't mind jerky but i can't say i buy it often, it's not the great if you ask me.

This thread has convinced me to go and get myself a nice big piece of silverside to make some jerky with in a bit.
Only downside with making you own is that it won't be ready until tomorrow after marinating today and then drying overnight.

Mr White, I find the All Natural jerky is the tastiest, the tenderbite ones after, and the gourmet ones last. I found that the gourmet ones tasted a bit "muddy" if you know what I mean... your thoughts? :cool:
