Do you like Christmas music played in shops

Had to endure two shops playing the god awful Christmas music this morning. We don’t play ours until 3 weeks time.

I hate it. It’s the same tired 40 songs every time. If you saw a Christmas album in the shops now and compare one found in a charity shop- the only song omitted from the former album is a disgraced 70s singer.

I try to zone out the music at work. When a customer says “this music is awful, feel sorry for you” I hear it!

Rarely go in to a shop now.

Didn't mind the music when I did.

Might annoy me if I worked in a store listening to any short playlist on a loop.

Christmas classics? I'm don't know of any recent Christmas songs I'd want to listen to
It will be my 17th Christmas working there and no Christmas song impresses me now. Love carols. Even got my mum to take her CDs of Christmas songs to the charity shop instead. There are some hardly played Christmas songs I don't mind as its not the Slade, Wizzard, Mariah stuff on a loop.

you either get terrible cover or Christmas it doesnt matter. Other than supermarkets dont spend much time in shops.

1st of December onwards it's fine, essential even. Prior to that it's just unnecessary.

"When I was a kid they never played it before December....." etc :p
