Do you like having an empty house?

Love it. Can play my music as loud as I want, don't have to wear headphones for gaming, can walk about starkers and can eat at the times that I want to eat!

I lived on my own for a while last year while at uni due to problems with my previous house (the ceiling in my room collapsed)

Some days I loved it, music up loud, wondering around not having to worry whether what you look like.

Be as messy as you want some days, overly tidy the other and so on

Then other days, I got really down and felt really lonely. Just wanting some one to talk to. In my old house we always used to have a film night/games night and random other stuff so missed all that

Hey folks!

So do you like having an empty house;

I know, I've seen tooooo many horror films and took toooo much notice of them! :D

As i have lived alone for nearly 9 years i would say, Yes.
As for the horror movies it makes those better as you crap yourself more when alone.

I'm good at keep myself entertained (even without resorting to furious self abuse). I'll quite happily sit on t'internet, clean up, play on the Wii etc without anyone's company. It doesn't make me feel lonely.

As long as I get a bit of time to myself I'm equally happy in the company of few and many.

I like it for a while, but after a few hours I start getting agitated as I haven't seen anyone and feel the need to socialise.

In the house I live in there's only me and my mum so I'm used to it being quiet.

I'm used to it so it doesn't bother me, but I know I'd love uni which is why I'm going straight there, no gap year or anything because it'll just be a great experience. I spent 2 weeks in Lanzarote with my friends recently and a week before that camping, and coming back it all felt so quiet which was weird to re-adjust.

I reckon I prefer it up to a point, I can always go round to a mates house or meet them for a few drinks if I get bored but when I've not got any real plans I enjoy dossing around on the internet for a while or watching a couple of films that I've not got round to before.

I've lived on my own for the last year and a bit now.
I like it because I get to choose who comes and goes and when and why.
Rather than having to ask permission to have people visit me in my own god damned house!

I can honestly say I absolutely LOVE living on my own, thought I would hate it and I did for a few weeks but now I cant imagine sharing my space with anyone. Theres no one to tell you to do the dishes or tidy up, you can slob about wearing what you want, and I can watch what I want when I want without anyone complaining.
Wouldnt change it for the world!
