Do you like photgraphs of yourself?

Thanks... I have always had a serious issue with my body image but I won't go in to the details of how it effected me. Despite the fact that I have modelled, therefore should know i'm not exactly ugly, I have always been extremely insecure about my looks. Actually if anything modelling contributed to my self loathing. :(

Awwww (hug) i know how you mean though im the same except im not a model!!

Cameras are Evil. I avoid them and have always been freaked out by a camera pointing at me. I even refused the chance to be on telly once. They got the cams out i legged it. :p
My Mug shot was on the news years and years ago. I was gutted wanted across the whole country and looked as ugly as i expected. :(
Cameras + Me = Run away Run away.

ROFL !!!! :D

I do love the way you post mate ... makes me laugh :)

I guess it's like Piggy said... We tend to critique pictures of ourselves far more than we should. So much so that in some cases, and definately in mine, it becomes unhealthy.

Still, i'm definately improving in that regard. Working out at the gym and eating properly has helped incredibly. Also my biggest pet peeve (which is my teeth) is due to be fixed soon. They are slightly misaligned, mostly due to having had a broken jaw a few years back. I am getting invisalign braces which as the name suggests are completely invisible and can be taken out to eat/brush.

It's going to be nice to actually feel comfortable smiling in a photo for once! I can't wait! :)

Politely snipped coz you are FAR to good looking.
I feel quite justified in completely attacking you mr hunky dude.
Ok so the pics aren't great but you are a good looking fellow. (said in a very MACHO way :p )
I do alright with woman but if i looked like you i would do MUCH better.
The 3 pics you posted. The first one looks dodgey and dark the 3rd one looks like you are drunk but the middle one is a good pic. You've even got the little tilted head bit going on you tart :D
I demand you go out and have casual sex with every single woman you meet then post details for me to look over.

I should really get my teeth sorted out. They're shaped nice enough but my front left tooth was killed after a fight I had on a night out and is now slightly discoloured. Its not a big difference but it is noticeable.

Gonna be expensive though I guess.

 Whoops. Foot mouth into. :p
My apologies Mrs gordy. Am sure you don't mind me flattering your old man a bit. ;)

LMAO! As Gilly pointed out I don't think Mrs. GordyR would be too pleased with that idea. :p :D

Oh and you're definately right about me looking drunk in that last pic... Although to be more accurate it is actually more of a "hangover" pic. I was on the ale the night before. Unfortunately I look drunk in far too many pictures these days, even when I shouldn't! :)

Anyway thanks for the compliments dude. I will never see it though.

I have no idea how much it would cost to get yours sorted mate but I can tell you that the procedure I am going through is setting me back £3000!

I have had various moulds taken and they have been sent off to the states where they do some sort of laser scanning thing and create a series of invisible braces, almost like gum shields. Each successive brace is shaped closer to how my teeth should be aligned and I just swap them out for the next one every few weeks or so.

www.invisalign.com

I'm just waiting for the call to inform me that my first brace is ready. :)

Gordy, what is it that you actually do? There are the seemingly endless sidelines into bodybuilding, modelling, singing, writing, nutjob evolutionary theories and theoretical physics etc, but I never figured out what pays the bills for you!

For a bit of colouring I'm hoping it wouldn't be that much :/

Problem is, with the colouring aspect, it could be down to your tooth actually dying from the inside out, so they could look at either bleaching it, if it is only superficial. But if they problem is with the tooth rotting they may look at giving you a fake tooth which would cost a fair amount.

I have it checked every so often. It is dead (the nerve was pulled out the day after the fight. I was in agony) but is not deteriorating in any way.

LOL! Indeed I do seem to have a finger in every pie! Music (writing and performing) is what currently pays the bills. :)

I don't model anymore and my nutrition/bodybuilding is more of a hobbie that I take quite seriously. My girlfriend is a qualified nutritionist and actually works in the nutrition industry, though she is currently looking to move in to the more 'technical' side of things. My interest in science has always been there since I was a child. I love to read and find areas that have no 'definate' answers the most compelling. Theoretical physics and as you quite rightly put it, 'nutjob' evolutionary theories obviously fall well in to that category. It's the fact that the case isn't closed that excites me. I like to read as much as I can about such topics, everything from the easily substantiated to the more 'out there' stuff. I just have a curious mind I guess. :)

The one thing I wish I had put my mind to a little more is mathematics. I would love to have your understanding in that area. I don't have the time to go down the academic route for that right now but I am determined to learn as much as I can on my own. Though I am sure my understanding will end up falling very short of where I would like it to be without proper tuition. In reality though I am just starting down that road, who knows where it will lead? If anywhere.

Who doesnt love Baby pictures? I suppose being reminded of the days when we were innocent and ignorant, and saw everything with big wide open eyes for the first time, without prejudice or malice, and having a wonderful enthusiasm and excitement for all things which today would barely register on our dials is something we all desperately wish to recapture, if only temporarily.

I don't mind photos of myself, there was a time when I wouldn't have my photo taken because I usually looked stoned. I'm fatter these days but I carry it well.

Snap, my right front tooth got wrecked when I was a kid and is slightly darker than the rest. I'll get it fixed one day but it's not bad enough to give me a complex.

Saying that, I have noticed that I tend not to grin in photos. Instead, there's a slimy smirk spread across my face that says 'shovel killer'. :/

If you're interested, pick up 'A Very Short Introduction to Mathematics' by Tim Gowers. It's far and away the best book to give you an idea of what maths is actually about, as opposed to the largely useless and uncompelling dross they teach you in school:p

My smile is a bit hit-and-miss. Sometimes it looks like I could cut glass with it, other times it just makes me look like a complete goof. You'll notice that I only ever post black and white pictures of myself - it covers up the red hair, yellow teeth and pale skin!
