Do you look forward to going to work?

Yea. I handle all the support for a particular product within our company by myself (work from home 3 days, 2 days in the office)

I'm with waynesalmon, but until that time, I look forward to going to work most days. I'm usually disappointed by the time I get there though!

Yes, every day. I run a SME of my own in the Civil Engineering sector, employing 4 people.

Big is NOT beautiful.

What about you OP?

I'm an IT Manager in the public sector. Pay is good, location is excellent, hours are ok. But the job itself is mundane and unchallenging, I work with elderly women who don't have the same interests as myself.

For a while now I've started to struggle to find motivation to get up in the morning, and thinking of changing jobs/career path.

Nope, i dont look forward to going into work, the only enjoyable part is that there might be a pretty girl on the bus.

Never, not because I hate my job, but because I just hate working. I don't think I could enjoy any conventional job. Today I mostly want to kill myself to end the suffering.

I'm sure the working from home help a lot?

I could quite easily do my job from home, and only go to work for the weekly Friday meetings etc.

Problem is the "elder generation", I'm one of 2 managers, the rest are all receptionists. They have set rotas, and I could easily see them kicking up a fuss if I were to work from home. They already make tedious remarks that I have my half day on a Friday (they aren't allowed to pick when they have theirs)...
