Do you navigate away from webpages that have tedious ‘cookie’ pop-ups?

Pretty sure it's a legal requirement all sites usually have to have the consent statement now if they are doing cookie tracking

Is it annoying ? Yes, yes it is.

I wish the Governments would get serious and make privacy the default so we had to opt-in not opt-out. It annoys me that there is no IPad option for blockers, so I just refuse to use cookie heavy sites. I can't use YouTube on my PC anymore because of all the cookies and it doesn't play nice with blockers but the number of cookies there just extracts the urine

"please accept our cookies"

"We would like to send you notifications"

"We would like to know your location"

"Pls sign up to our newsletter"

"Here's a full page ad LOL"

I've used uBlock Origin and Ghostery for some time now. I keep most lists ticked, however I get issues with YouTube cookies being deleted if I select certain lists, so I keep those unticked. I don't use YouTube signed in, so rely on YouTube's cookies for my viewing recommendations.

I have the same issue, which lists do you leave unticked?

Nope, I just click accept cookies and carry on 99% of the time.
I have twice as many clicks.

Customize -> Reject Non-Essential (or Preferences -> Save and Exit)

Choosing "Accept all" will AFAICT turn on all optional and marketing cookies, if you take the time to click the 'Choose' button, they present you a list with most of the non-essential stuff already turned off. So you can just click 'Save and Exit' or 'Essential Only' and be somewhat better off than clicking the Accept All button.

If I can't reject all then I'm out.

I'm not faffing around clearing all the sites cookies after or any other nonsense.

if I wanted my data to be sold to 1000 companies I'd do it myself.

some of these websites literally have over a thousand cookies it seems too.... no one has time to manually opt out of them all

Same, if it has a reject all button then yes, otherwise I find another way to find the same info

I use "I still don't care about cookies" and Consent-O-Matic.

For anything else I reject all cookies. If the option to reject all isn't available I hit the back button.
