Do you pick up hitchhikers?

Depends on their breast size....

Used to when I was out on the roads a lot in the 80's/90's. I Remember picking one bloke up at a motorway junction, he was shattered from hitching around and hadn't slept or eaten properly for days, he was also skint, so I stopped off at the next services and bought him a hot meal.

Can't even remember where I dropped him off it was that long ago! I had no qualms in picking up hitchers regularly back then, I didn't even consider the potential dangers. People seemed to have more trust in each other, seems totally different now, but that could just be my cynicism/distrust growing as I've got older, when we're young and naive we just blindly trust people I suppose.

You don't see as many hitchhikers nowadays, but yea I generally do pick them up.

The last ones I picked up I was only on my lunchtime and popping into town to get a sandwich and took them ~15miles out of my way :p (and to the OP, I drive a BMW :p)

I remember hitching in Europe with a female friend from uni, would always send her out to get people to stop before I popped up out of the bushes, she always seemed to get more success at getting people to stop :p

If i saw that i'd just speed off, not sure the drivers appreciate being conned like that either.
