More often than not, multiplayer here.

rFactor, Trackmania, CODWaW, Crysis (yes online!) & Occasional Empire:Total War fill up most of my time, its all the PC gets used for at home. ('cept music and browsing..)

Having said that, Fallout 3 and Mass Effect had me hooked for ages, F3 especially.

I prefer offline single player. I used to prefer and play a lot of online games when I was younger - Counter Strike, C&C: Tiberian Sun, Unreal Tournament, Quake 3... etc - but I've found now I'm a bit older all I want is a good single player game with good gameplay and a well told story. Saying that, LANs can still be fun.

i would probably say online singleplayer, but then theres no option for that.

im a fan of diablo 2 LoD, play it more than anything online but i go into solo games. only time i multiplay on that are when i create my first character to rush the rest i make or baalruns or trading. the same went for HGL too, and Guild Wars.

other games i play are mostly singleplayer though. given up MMORPGs, although the temptation to return is always there.

good question, depends what game and what i feel like, more often than not its online multiplayer, but now and again i wouldnt mind a huge battle vs the computer on supreme commander, dawn of war or something like that, i allways go back to half life at some point aswell.

if you asked me 2 years ago i would have said offline single player any day, because my first ever online experience was only 2 years ago on bf2142, and you couldnt get me off it after that.

offline for me - can do what i want, when i want. i don't want to pay for a game and find half the content boxed off, or have to dedicate hours and hours and hours to get anywhere.

I really like the experience you can get playing certain games online.
But I like some single sometimes!

Since becoming addicted to online gaming back in the old school modem days, I pretty much haven't looked back in terms of gaming. Everything I play now is online, although I do buy the SP titles and play them, they just don't last as long in terms of keeping my attention.

I've wasted countless hours in FPS games and lost about 1.5-2 years to WoW. Nothing SP has ever come close.

I now find as a result single player FPS games are mostly just dull, with the occasional release of something groundbreaking being the exception to the rule. Some games are meant for SP (GTA Series, although with MP content now it's debateable), Resident Evils, RPG, etc.

I'd say I'm probably 9.5 times out of 10 going to be online gaming.

Much prefer offline games tbh. I play online games against mates but very rarely just random, with th exception of trackmania until one of the servers vanished and all the folks I played with disapeared :(. I've never really got into clans or groups that much so that may be why.

I can't stand playing games by myself, it always feels empty and pointless to me.

The banter and human competition online can be great, but it's even better with local multiplayer.

wow im rely suprised. To me pc gamign is all about multiplayer. Good singleplayer games are so rare now i dont genearly buy them. And the few good single player games are oftern also on consol which i sometimse prefer to play on for them like mass effect, assasins creed (debatibal how good tho).

Stratergy games really cannot be played against ai, so if your 0playing them singleplayer i think your really missing out.

There is more to online gaming then css and wow. Seems so many people are funneled into those two games.

Probably over estimate your skill, you will always find that n00bs will call the good players cheaters.

KaHn

hahah damn right. To me cheaters are only really in any abundence on CSS and even there take the number of people you think you see cheating and divide it by 5 proably.

Though some people are blatent and it really ruins it for me, hesne why i no longer play CSS. But ya know what, there are other games that exist :O

I hope your like 12 or something. Becuase if your older and youve only been playing online for 2 years. I pitty you lol.

I started at the age of 8 haha lol. But in some ways i think thats whats killed games for me. im 18 now and ive seen it all and dont really play any more as a result :( sad times.
