Ive got a nice neat pop up wallet for six cards and some cash. I need to carry cards with me for various purposes. The cash is just for showing off

I carry one debit card, and like to have at least £50 in cash on me when out locally, but if going on long car journeys, especially towing a car trailer, I like at least £500 cash on me in case of any trouble. Cash speaks volumes when you're in a bind. I make sure there are always a few pound and two pound coins in the car for meters and supermarket trolleys. I have never had a wallet.

Same here. Only need to carry 4 cards and a few notes.

What made me buy one was I lost my wallet last year, so when looking for a new one I asked myself "do I really want another full size wallet?"

Went with the above. It has RFID blocking for the cards on the inside, it has 1 pocket on the outside, I usually just fold a £20 in there.

£35 ish, UK made, genuine leather. (it sounds like i am selling these as I've recommended them before lol)

After a year, it's wearing in well.

About 2 months after I found my old wallet, but not gone back to it, this card holder is perfectly fine for what i need.

I have had the same little leather wallet for 35 years. The credit card pouch admittedly has stretched over the years, due to that period of the 90's when it was somehow fashionable to carry as many cards as you could on you, like shop cards, RACcards, EB cards, Game cards etc etc, I was always stuffing and extra one in. But now of course I only need like 3 at most, but it is so loose they just fall out, so I still have to stuff it with extra cards. There is probably some metaphor there about pocket type things stretching over time, and not being as tight as they once were.

I think I'm still in that mindset, I really need to get a grip and sort them out!

Ooh, very nice. Thanks for the tip!

Before the pandemic, i carried a large purse and a small wallet with cards I seldom use.

Now I carry my cards (debit card, credit card, staff discount and DL) in my phone case. Then have small coin purse for a couple of cards and cash for things like my hairdresser, chiropodist etc.

Two hospitals have pay n display machines that only take coins! If need to visit these, I get cash out and break a note buying 1-2 small things

I have a lovely little MontBlanc card wallet thing, compact, slim, but its been sat on top of the microwave in the kitchen for about the last two and a half years I reckon, always just use my phone (I do keep a little stash of cash in the car just incase, but its very very rare is ever use it).

Always carry a wallet with me, I looked at 'downsizing' it with a Ridge style wallet and it wouldn't work for me.

This is my wallet:

Edit: actually that probably breaks forum rules so I have removed

Edit 2: it's a copy of the one Samuel L Jacksons character has in Pulp Fiction during the scene in the diner where they are robbed for their personal items.
