Do you tip pizza/chinese/Indian delivery drivers?

Tefal, you will do anything to get into an argument with me so im not going to comment.

He has a point.

"Oh sorry sir I totally forgot, I must tip you because you took silly risks to deliver my food", come off it.

If the driver is getting so loaded up with food deliveries that they have to take risks it's their employers they should be looking at and not the customer.

Generally only have notes (£20 for £11 worth of food :p) so I want the change, but if its for example £9.50 and I have a tenner I'll just say keep it.

I never do.

I only ever tip if I'm given service beyond a satisfactory standard - that is after all the entire idea.

perks like what exactly

They don't spit in your food?

:p

lol, no, things like getting into clubs for free now and again, bouncers going in and picking me up takeaway alcoholic drinks after hours, I can pretty much walk into my hairdressers and he'll do my hair there and then, for most people he runs a very strict appointment system, my delivery driver when busy will always come to me first if my order is on the van, a few local restaurants always seem to go that extra mile with my food which is nice, I get to jump the cue with a few of the local cab firms, that can be very handy, nothing amazing but still, it's like Zefan said, anyone that gives me service beyond a satisfactory standard then they have my cash, I like to be looked after, they look after me, I'll look after them.

Only about 50p or something. But that's usually because i mostly have the correct change anyway so just grab a bit more to cover a tip

No.
Why? It's their job.
I don't get tipped, (Well... I have once in two years, which was last week..)
But in my job i'm not expected to.
I don't even get paid over-time.

No, why would you.

Tipping is for amazing service. Where the waiters go out of there way to make your experience perfect. How can a delivery driver do that.

People who tip all the time, just make for lazy waiters.

No, i dont tip peasants

Lol, same in London. I pay laods for a greasy luke warm pizza, then I don't tip. Online ordering helps.

Normally tip when getting a curry in, bu don't need to order them anymore. Just walk down the road to my favourite takeaway/restaurant, they know me, produce great fod there, and is sooo much cheaper than ordering in. Currys at £3.95, rice at £1.20, naans at 60p, absolute bargains !

Do you guys tip the guy in the supermarket who packs the bag for you?

What about tipping the guy who takes your money for the toll bridge?

Quick, tip the bin men.
