Do you want to read about a true hero?

There are, it's just a sad fact that good stories are rarely printed and bad ones are.

The reason for all these good Storys not getting much focus that happen in Iraq that show bravery and Compasion and just all the good things that come out from our countrys being there is because hardly anyone wants to hear about them, hardly anyone wants to hear about US, UK, AUS Solders helping out people which havnt eaten for awhile, helping each other and showing brave acts like this, Helping out and getting along with the People that live in the country, Showing the Iraqis that live there that actually suport the US being there and removing Sadam.

They would rather Whinge and bitch and hear about all the people that are getting killed and all the oil that is being exploited and all the anger its creating and all the soldiers getting killed by Insergents and road side bombs, cases of Soldiers messing around in what can be considerd as dangerous way when really they have done it for years and its nothing new, or Soliders shooting as stray dogs.

People for some reason like conspirocy and like to point the finger, They like to point out all the wrong things that happen and they like to criticise people, They wont go out of there way to do much to help but they want to just bitch and whinge about every thing thinking nothing good will or is coming from it and they ignore the storys like this one.

And this thread Proves it, Its been here for quite awhile now and its only 2 pages long.
If it was about a US solider shooting a Dog running down the street or about US soldiers punching up a few of there captives or a friendly fire incedent then this thrread would still be going with more then 5-10 pages of it.

People are weird negitive creatures that seem to dismiss anything good that happens in the world

Here is another person that I think deserves, without a doubt, to be called a true hero. Again he didnt give his life for his country but his actions during WWII are nothing short of unbelievable.

Audie Murphy is the most decorated member of the US Military and has recieved every decoration for valor that the US has to offer plus 5 other from France and Belgium. If you every get a chance, read his book "To Hell and Back"

There will be noble acts by US forces on a daily basis but that doesn't sell newspapers as much it seems.

RIP to an undoubtedly brave man. The US Navy SEALs, along with other Special Forces, do a fantastic job and undertake missions where it would seem a one way ticket to some.

My sentiments exactley. A true selfless heroic act by a real hero.
