Some will kick you off the book if you don't go for a couple of years and many people don't think to go yearly unless they have a problem. Were you not already registered with an NHS dentist?
I had a text in July from dentist saying I am due a check up - Rang up and can't get in till end of September.
Not in my experience, I can call my private dentist and have an appointment within the week. That's the same with private, if you go annually for a check up, you just call up a few months in advance.
You can say thanks to labour and then new conservatives aswell. Your best option stay away from sugar or added sugar, brush floss and you will reduce your tooth lose and reduce pain.been running around like crazy. took me 2 days to get anti biotics, 2 days of no emergency appointments and no one's taking new patients. going to have to go private.
Doesn't sound too bad?I had a text in July from dentist saying I am due a check up - Rang up and can't get in till end of September.
Alright, calm down calm down like.
Yep, mine retired, luckily another one took over. Nothing wrong with my teeth, but I have to go every few months for 'a check up, thanks that'll be £23.80 please for 2 minutes, see you in 6 months. Thnxbye' or you're off the books. Some will kick you off the book if you don't go for a couple of years and many people don't think to go yearly unless they have a problem.
There is also a major issue of getting on the books if you move to a new area, of if your old dentist retires/goes fully private.

Try living in France…. The dentistry over here is utterly amazing in comparison! The state of dental care in this country is a disgrace. It's bad just about everywhere.
