There is also a major issue of getting on the books if you move to a new area, of if your old dentist retires/goes fully private.

That's the same with private, if you go annually for a check up, you just call up a few months in advance.

You can say thanks to labour and then new conservatives aswell. Your best option stay away from sugar or added sugar, brush floss and you will reduce your tooth lose and reduce pain.

Yep, mine retired, luckily another one took over. Nothing wrong with my teeth, but I have to go every few months for 'a check up, thanks that'll be £23.80 please for 2 minutes, see you in 6 months. Thnxbye' or you're off the books.

My 73 yo Mother was removed from her NHS dentists books recently for not going for over a year, she now has a wobbly tooth and cannot get in anywhere so has resorted to trying these last few weeks to pull it out herself.

What a state this country is in.
