I've had my card used in the past - it clocked up over £7000 of ladbroke and other such betting things. When I read the statement I rang them to explain that I never made such a purchase. They cancelled the transaction, the card and sent me a letter to sign to agree/confirm it wasn't me, and refunded my money. Easy.

Moral: Always check your bank statements and keep your receipts!

Yeh im going to keep a close eye on my statements now, i thought when i checked my bank balance at the cash point last week that i seemed to have a bit less than i was expecting....

feel a lot better its sorted now, was racking my brains all afternoon looking at the statement...
