Does "Advanced performance" make any difference?

Hi,

Does enabling the advanced performance under the disk drive properies in Vista make a lot of difference to load times / virus scan times ect?

Didn't seem to improve my Vista score from 5.6 when I enabled it....

Yes but do not do on a Lappy (due to battery could run out and you loose data).

I posted some info here long ago to get HDD bit faster.

I cant remember all but Kill the Low Disk Warning and some old DOS thingy too if you do not need.
