SUPER is supposed to be very good, although I've never used it myself, I've been using Videora, which is quite easy.
I was just on their website trying to find the download link. Their sie is quite possibly the worst ever
I was talking about SUPER:s
www.zune.net/setup
Not very hard to find. Seen as when you turn your zune on it tells you to do that.
Just got mine through the post this morning, installing music on it as we speek![]()
Has anybody got and decent screen protectors / covers that they can reccomend? (for the Zune 80GB) And how much you payed for them?
Nope, the Zune 1 software was just a reskinning of WMP11 and was universally bashed. This new software is much better though I have found it can get it's knickers in a twist with album covers if you rip with something else directly to the Music folder.
In answer to your first question. You just delete the music file/album with the delete key and then just re-sync your album and it will be gone from your zuneNot sure about your 2nd question though
.
You can just sync one file over if you so wish. All you have to do is just right click the file that you want to transfer and just sync that individual file over, it doesnt interfere with anything else. Mine hasnt since I've got mine in the post this morning anyway!
You can set it to manually sync, so if you only want to sync the CD it shouldnt delete all the files on the Zune as its only connecting with that CD. I know what you mean though, I've had an ipod for around 2 years, and it just went bust!
Not sure, I belive the ipod would just be wiped clean if you connected it to the formatted PC. Theres probably a way around it though. Thanks for the help! So is there anyway i can delete single songs off ipods then? Bear in mind my pc is now music free because its formatted. I take it if i sync the ipod now it will just wipe?
I'm guessing its the same, you set it to manually sync in the Zune software before you connect the Zune player. You can then just right click the album/track/video or what ever it is and click delete, it will then delete only them files from your Zune library. In the same position, how would you delete single tracks/albums off the zune? (If my pc has been formatted or im using a different pc away from home)
PS that blue crystal case looks the business![]()

Oh right, so when its set to manuall sync you can actually accecc the zunes hdd and it will show up whats on it, then you can delete it off. Because you can't even do that on ipods (well i cant find out how anyway)
Cheers for the help
Whilst you can't view the Zunes HD in explorer etc you can browse whats on it from the software. I'm guessing you can treat songs as you would videos.
With vidoes you can set it so you manually choose which to sync and then you have an option to 'remove from Zune'. The vidoes stay on the PC but are removed from the player. As the Zune 80 comes with preinstalled songs and vidoes you can choose when you get it to copy them to the HD then remove them.
Sorry made that sound more complicated than it is; hope you get what I'm saying and it answers your question.
