Does anyone commute to work in an interesting way?

Used to commute to Toulouse from Filton daily on some crappy A320 for about 8 months.

That must have even absolutely horrible. I hate flying - in the sense of cramped, overly dry headache inducing space rather than fear of flying.

Moving soon to a new place in Shadwell and want to find a different way to get to work...current commute would be the DLR and tube but does anyone have an interesting commute?

Eg hoverboard? Fold up bike? Rollerblade?

Yup - bored tonight. :o :p

Tuk Tuk and watch the nostalgia in their eyes?

Not any interesting commute myself, but know a few oil industry blokes who's commute involves cars ferries and helicopters.

Tbh i reckon the first bloke to post from the forces is going to win this.

For me it's either drive for about £3 in petrol and 20 minutes, with nice comfy heated seats. Or take 2 grotty busses costing over £10 and probably taking over an hour...

Can probably guess which one I pick lol

(UK's public transport is terrible).

Motorbike, so not that interesting unless you like motorbikes. I do 60 miles a day in any weather and love it. No such thing as traffic and it reduces my journey by 30 minutes compared to car.

I used to want to kayak to work as I used to live near a canal that ran all the way to my office. But decided against as it was about 15 miles and too many locks to navigate. I did cycle it though but wasn't as interesting as kayaking it.

I drive, but I make rally car engine noises and dump valve wooshes with my lips.

10 minute drive or 5 minute drive to the other side of the river and a ferry across if its a nice day or there are roadworks on the other side. I would like to walk it but half of it would require slogging through mud/grass in a suit.

Shadwell? If you walk in to the city that could be quite 'interesting'. Do you wear a stab vest.
