Make another ut and base it on the original.
ty.
Plenty have said the same over the years & I put that down to how they have there system & settings set up.
Last night I step out of a jitty a shotty a fella in the face, It made me jump even though I pulled the trigger & as the dude fell I noticed i had taken out a dude stood behind him with the same shot.
I also got rushed whilst on a roof by a Mad Medic squad but had my SVD & was well warmed up, As I dropped them the last one was within feet of me as I let go, I swear I felt the recoil in my shoulder.
Maybe it's just so well suited to me I don't know, Must be summit going on between me & the game as I played the second it came out & played last night & will be playing within ten mintues after writing this post.![]()
Agreed. the "pro" people who claim 1.6 is the best thing only do so because that is all they have been practicing all their lives. If they moved on to cs:source (much better imo), they'd have to start from scratch, and for some people that's over a decade of training investment lost. Sounds sad but it's true.
TF2 is about the only game which does unlocks properly, they are either purely cosmetic or they are side-grades which are simply different, but not better than the default ones, BC2 is pretty has pretty much the worst unlock system I have seen in anything outside of MMO's![]()
Just tried out Quake Live for the first time after seeing it mentioned here. Seems pretty cool![]()
I play BF2, The default weapons are as good as the unlocks & in some cases they are better. Patches have altered the balance one way then tuther over the years but i just adapt. I am constantly picking up kits off the floor during a round as well.
The problem I have with current games is the jazzed up gfx's & the lack of feel when you kill somebody, I like to feel the impact of the kill & funky gfx's spoils it.
No I don't miss it, because I'm still playing it (Quakeworld)!![]()
The irony is, to me the game mentioned by the OP (CoD2) isn't strictly speaking an older style FPS anyway...
sorry but thats not true CSS is a lot more user friendly , anyone who is good at 1.6 are just as good if not better in CSS
