Seems his domain has expired

http://www.anracing.co.uk/

But thats Andy Nicholls from Rovertech I think, I'll go a search. He has the fastest FWD car in the Uk, a Maestro :D

the ZR is owned by Andy Nicholls

He built the engine

it is a T series based engine

the car is an MG ZR replica, originally it was a mk3 200

obviously an engine transplant, but i cant find any info on it.

Oh no, not this again.

It's a ROVER engine. It can handle the power. It'll probably show your Evo a thing or two on the straights too ;)

I think you really need to get it into your head that not all Rover engines are a pile of ****. The T-series is a very very good engine. Great performance and great reliability.

WTF  it is an engine transplant  the Rover 25 never came with a T series did it?

Also read my last thread on Rover's i clearly say the Rover V8 was a legend.

Get off your high horse.

I think that was the car running at the Elvington airfield nr York last year, if so, it had trouble with getting the power down and it didn't sound too good either what with all the popping and banging.

Yes, you did upset the Rover fan club again :p

You guys need to give this a rest, seriously. I can't wait to wipe the smile off your faces at MM3!

The T Series is a great engine, used in kit cars etc, it can give loads of power and be quite reliable even under high stress.

Its the rover way of doing things i don't like and the entire company structure.

I think it's you who needs to get off his high horse... with all these Rover threads, one would think that'd you're actually interested in Rovers.

Yeah ok, the 25 with a T is a transplant, but it's still a Rover engine. And a very good one at that.

custom1, of course it'll have trouble getting the power down. I have enough trouble with my new car... spinning through 2nd gear in the wet. FWD + 700bhp = not going to be great at gripping, and yet it still picks up some great times.

My rule is, if you don't have a clue about something, don't bother trying to 'sound clever'. You just look like a ****!

Here is a question though whose faces are you going to wipe the smile off, i cant see it being anybody with a similar sized engine to you.
