Does anyone still use an alarm clock?

By that I mean an actual alarm clock, not a mobile phone.

Usually I'll just use my mobile as an alarm clock but I keep forgetting to put it in my bedroom so I've decided to get a proper alarm clock.

Any recommendations? Nothing that requires batteries (unless it's like a mobile phone battery and can be recharged from the mains).

I set about 5 alarms on my phone 2-5 minutes apart, and have my alarm clock go off around the middle of those, which is the time I actually intend on getting up.

My advice? Get a radio one, I haven't got one yet but it's really nice waking up to the radio!

similar to what I do

I still manage to sleep in though :p

I picked up a Phillips Daylight type alarm clocks because I'm totally not a morning person and it really helps!

Sometimes I'll wake up before the alarm noises come on because the light has woken me up and I do feel quite a lot better for it than when I used a regular alarm!

Totally recommend that route...

I'm beginning to stop trusting my mobile alarm clock, when I get a proper job I'm treating myself to a "big boy" alarm clock.

I use my DS Lite as a dedicated alarm now, it's plugged into a 2.0 speaker set cause I need something that packs power to wake me up :(
