Does Halo 3 Require...

I'm actually really surprised that so many people seem to have graphics as the number one selling point for a game...

I still play games from the 80s and 90s without giving a hoot.

im with 'the craig' on this one, there are some shocking looking games on the xbox 360 and halo 3 isn't even close to being one of them. battlefield 1943 and bad company are pretty shocking graphically as a quick example, far cry II as well manages to be so horrific, hell its worse than far cry I on PC.

and squark is right, if you really want to know the halo story the books are a must, especially fall of reach. there good read, not to long, not too short. halo IMO is one of the most well thought out science fiction universes, especially the UNSC since they are based on modern militaries rather than pure fantasy.

just play them, graphically the aren't as bad as you're making out, and halo 1 is probably the strongest of the 3 games for story, gameplay and atmosphere. alternatively you oculd read the books which are very good books if i'm being honest.
