OP could get something a lot better for £300 - definitely worth saving up a bit longer!

Something like this will be more than adequate for COD series (bar perhaps MW2 and BO) on high settings and will be better than the Phenom for WoW.

MSI GeForce GTS 450 Cyclone 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
(£83.32) £99.98

Coolermaster Elite 430 Windowed Case - Black (with 500w Elite Power PSU)
(£54.16) £64.99

AMD Athlon II X3 Tri Core 445 3.10GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail
(£47.49) £56.99

Asus M4A78LT-M 760G (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard
(£36.66) £43.99

OCZ Special OPS 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (OCZ3SOE1600LV4GK)
(£27.99) £33.59

Sub Total : £249.62
Shipping cost assumes delivery to UK Mainland with:
DPD Next Day Parcel
(This can be changed during checkout) Shipping : £10.00
VAT is being charged at 20.00% VAT : £51.92
Total : £311.54

You could save around £12 by getting a Athlon II X2, but X3 is considered the sweet spot for gaming atm :)

Also, shop around ;)

Thanks for your effort and time, but I don't have enough options for cash- I'm only 15 :/

I assume you mean 768mb?

And you do realise I've specced a GTS450 ;) GTX460 was out of budget.

Yep, gpu listed by OP is in HTPCs - but judging by this thread its for very low budget gaming.

OP, thought just occured to me - if you sold your DDR ram you could get a good £30 that way; the gfx card is worth around £20 at a push; if you could find a buyer you could get around £15-20 for the cpu & mobo.

Worth it to raise the extra money :)

Alright, thanks for your help.
I also need to sell a bunch of Xbox games, get about 40 Pounds from them.

I don't want to sell these PC Parts until I am definitely sure that I am going to order what I hope to order.

Another option is the 880 amd chipsets with onboard graphics. I believe they have HD4200 graphics chips, not outstanding but will play games at reduced settings adequately. There are a ton of youtube videos showing playable fps on games such as BFBC2, COD etc.

By going for onboard graphics you get to save £50-100 from the outset which would allow you to perhaps upgrade the main system components now whilst still allowing you to play games while you eventually beg borrow steal cash to get a much more suitable graphics card at a later date.

Can i have the link for the Chipset please?

Are we completely sure about the itegrated gpu's

i have an 880 chipset with intergrated graphics. Whilst it plays some games ok. it will not even load some. for example, i can play fallout nv on decnt settings, but Breach or cod4 will not even play on the lowest res.
At least if you can get one for a similar price, you could build the system, then try a few games and if they are not satisfactory, you can add one of the cards suggested.

Where can I find the chipset?
