Well, it looks quite strongly like they've broken down, which doesn't strike me as an obvious way to pre-plan a robbery. Getting picked up by a friend at the end makes sense, if they've broken down, as does the Saxo still being there. He's a full-on shell-suit wearing chav: respecting people's property isn't going to come naturally - he's just eyeing it up whilst he waits to be picked up.
Personally, I tend not to worry unduly about stuff which is unlikely to be a problem. If bad things happen, deal with it, but don't waste your life worrying about them.
