Does this behaviour seem odd to anyone else?

Well, it looks quite strongly like they've broken down, which doesn't strike me as an obvious way to pre-plan a robbery. Getting picked up by a friend at the end makes sense, if they've broken down, as does the Saxo still being there. He's a full-on shell-suit wearing chav: respecting people's property isn't going to come naturally - he's just eyeing it up whilst he waits to be picked up.

Personally, I tend not to worry unduly about stuff which is unlikely to be a problem. If bad things happen, deal with it, but don't waste your life worrying about them. Cowards die many times before their deaths. The valiant never taste of death but once :p

It's meant to look like they've broken down because that gives plausible deniability incase someone starts asking questions. You're the coward, you're scared of confrontation or taking action, don't try and pin that badge on people

Your logic about not worrying about anything until after it happens is somewhat suspect. :p

Still alive & still not dressed!

He has come back in a battered looking silver Corsa B with fetching black alloys, it looks like they are trying to get it running again.

Guess it really was broken down, why the hell come milling around my garden though?!?

OMFG - Richdog & Roar87, you reading this?! Incredibly, our tracksuit-wearing friend wasn't setting up an elaborate, and unsolvable, caravan heist after all. I can't tell you how shocked, and relieved, I am.

So OP almost got this guys car destroyed over nothing? :p

It wants destroying with the state it is in, it doesn't even have any rubbers in the windscreen wipers & looks like a skip inside.

It wasn't over nothing though, why was he looking round my property? I think I have a right to be suspicious.

Why was he milling around the garden though? That is pretty odd behaviour!

Have a word with him and tell him to check out this thread too, he'll laugh his arse off.

I agree, he shouldn't have been nosing around. If the car was in such a bad state, surely the police would have taken it off the road themselves?

Like I said though, if you see them again, just stand at your doorstep, and try get an answer from him. Clothed or naked, it doesn't matter.

A lot of crime is opportunistic. With them being 'known' to the police they probably just thought they'd have a nosey after breaking down.

What ever happened to going outside your own house and asking the person, who's wandering about your front garden, if they need something?

Also, pooing outside the caravan to leave a poo trail when it gets nicked was the best idea in here.

218 posts and no one asked about the dog!

What about his feelings?

Might have thought, "Ay up, this guy looks to be quite handy with cars, I wonder if he would lend me some help?"

And then probably saw a glimpse of your beautiful naked form from behind a curtain and got all nervous and just looked around in vain for some tools lying around instead of disturbing a fine specimen of a man sat undertaking business at his PC.
