I must have cheap board lol. It's the z77-d3h . I only have the option to manually enter the vcore amount or set to auto. And dvid is greyed out.

using latest bios? if dvid is grey out it means it can be unlocked or it wouldn't show it there

here,same board and 4.4ghz using dvid

What is the safest way to flash the bios as I heard you can brick it so im abit worried lol.im using f16 what bios do you use? Thanks.

I have the up4 th,so bios will be different,is that the latest bios on gigabytes site?

plug in a usb mem stick,download/extract the bios files onto it,reboot and press end key at gigabyte splash screen and flash through qflash,its much safer than in windows

also sometimes the bios settings will stick or wont save,so that could be why you can set dvid,only way to cure it is to reflash the bios

my board does it from time to time

Ok mate. The latest bios is f18 or f19 beta. I need to try and find a USB stick now lol.

no worries,its easy to flash once you get used to the routine
