Hi all,

I know it's probably a bit old fashioned in this day and age to expect your wife to do all the cooking everyday etc...

But would you say that your wife does still do most of the cooking?

...is there anything wrong with that though? Does she moan? or is it just old fashioned and sexist?

I cook for me, she cooks for her. We eat different things so it's easier this way. I will cook for her though if she is working late or something so it's ready when she gets in, she will do same for me too.

These days they don't cook, clean, give head, or allow you the remote to your own tv. And still expect you to pay everything.

Sad days :p

My mrs does most of the cooking as she loves doing it as she is a chef, but she is teaching me to improve my cooking skills.

No - I do 90% of the cooking.

I wouldn't say she can't cook. It's just that what she does cook is unimaginative and usually she uses twice as many dishes / pots as she needs (and then ends up having so many things sitting that I have to serve it all up myself)

And as Raymond Lin stated - I have yet to meet any girl who can cook as skillfully as me - or one that actually understands how to change the taste of Veg/meat/produce through the use of spices/cooking methods etc. Most females just know how to cook (add a jar of some rubbish) - and thats it. They don't understand the science behind making it taste good/better ;)

My girlfriend is a Chef and so she's sick of the site of a hob or oven by the time she gets home. I thus end up cooking for the majority of the time.

it depends on the meal, i make some mean curries. Where as she makes some really amazing simple little meals with chicken and potatoes and stuff.
