Dog Owners

MY dog Lily, 1 year old, and supposed to be a Lab/Springer cross but Im sure theres something else in there.

At a guess I'd say possibly a bit of Dalmation too based on the ears, colouring and facial shape.

No dogs here at the moment I'm afraid although my parents have got some sort of terrier mongrel, not a clue which terrier and what else were his ma and pa because he is a rescue dog. Probably somewhere in the region of 12 years old, very lumpy (the vets have checked him out numerous times and say they are benign) and with a bad habit of ignoring commands until he feels like coming, it probably doesn't help that he is partially deaf and going blind though.

The cool thing with our spaniels is their hunting instinct is insane. They don't work, and are just house pets, but you can't take the gun dog instioncts out of a gun dog.

The sound of a pheasant and they will go absolutely wild, rush to the window. The sound of gunfire makes them ecstatic. Tell them to flush and they know exactly what to do. A walk in the forest means rabbits and pheastants are flying all over the place.

We have 2-3 of them, and they work well together. Watching them rush over heather moors in the distance flushing grouse is an amazing sight.

I know! Before we had trained her to retrieve, she'd run in and flush pheasants, partridges, woodcocks out immediately.

Now she's trained though, I just have to get the shotgun cabinet key and she goes mad! Winter time (ie. shoot time) she loves

A Parsons Russell Terrier (Left) and A Parsons Russell Terrier cross Border Terrier (Right).

The Parsons Terrier (2 years old) is very affectionate, the problem is she expresses it through playtime, her toys are her life and you think I'd be exagerating but I'm not. she wants to play or burn energy to the point she falls asleep with her ball in her mouth.

The Parsons Cross (15 months) is very complicated, he loves to wind people up and tease people, hiding things, pretends he wants affection then runs off for you to chase him, always lets you catch him though. He sulks when he wants a walk and no one can take him for a while. He has a crazy amount of personality for a dog. Even in the picture he's got the ball before her taken it and sat down to wind her up, she's looking at me to get it off him. :)

GF has a pomeranian @ 10 month old.

Parents have a staffy, both great dogs, staffy is a bit overweight due to him eating anything/everything.

Anyone fancy a Raccoon as a pet ? I went to Hull to see my cousin the other day who owns a pet shop full of snakes lizards etc

Anyway she took me round her BF's brothers who has a Raccoon and its awesome, its litter trained and has more or less run of the house. It's so friendly and really playful. It's about 10 month old IIRC and will grow to a size of a average dog.

Thats great :p

I'd love a Lemur as a pet aswell, bet they are great fun to have around :D

Heres my dog max, according to the vet he is a Yorkshire Terrier/Otterhound cross..... I personally reckon his mom was a bit of a slapper..... :P

And yes i do realise he is a scruffy little **** but no matter how much we brush/wash him, he still looks the same.

Rough Collie, stable and white, 3yrs old and very lazy if allowed to be. Loves attention, needs loads of brushing but enjoys her slow walks.

Border Collie, black and white, 2yrs old and very energetic and loves playing ball. Not so much into slow walks, loves finding a large green and running around after balls and stuff.

So it makes it tricky to get a balance. Normally take them both on a slow walk, find a park and one can sit and watch, whilst the other runs around till I get bored and call her back.

I've got a 4 month old bullmastiff, he's awesome (very clumsy though :D)

How do I post pics (not links), do they need to be uploaded to imageshack or similar?

You need some form of image hosting, Imageshack will do although there are other free options. Then post with the tags www.exampleaddress.com/picture.jpg - you obviously remove the spaces from the tags and change the address to suit, you can put up to 10 images in a post.

I miss my dogs. :(

Had 2 Belgian Shepherds until recently but they both died at 14 years old. The last 2 of a litter of 9!

here he is, the man himself... Scruff! Welsh Terrier just over 2 years old and mental, but has a personality like a Human Being....

The funniest dog ever!!!
