Dog's should not eat stones!

In terms of animals, I've just seen a hedgehog in our back yard. Thing was bloody massive!

I broomed it into the back yard after failing to take a pic with my camera phone. What a piece of **** the K850i is.

£1300 is ridiculous.

Vets are always stupidly expensive though. Seems the emotional meat hook of having an animal is enough to justify the crazy expenses...

Hope he gets well soon. :)

Not true. You just think that cause you get NHS free. The dog probably had x -rays, a vet surgeon operating on him, a trained aneasthatist to knock him out, support nurses during the op, post op treatment and monitoring, drugs etc.

If that was you would you think £1300 was a fair price?

And it ****es me off since my other half is a vet when people complanin about the price. It takes 7 years to become a vet. A vet is more qualified than a doctor. Doctors can't legally treat animals but vets can treat people.

5 years*

Pretty much all my friends at uni are vets ha ha :p (unless there are another 2 years which I aint been told about!!)

In answer to some people's question of the cost. Yes £1300 is a lot. It is also nothing when compared to a family pet. You cannot be a good pet owner without thinking of these possiblities.

There was 4 people during the operation helping the vet.

Vet's have to be very well trained. Unlike us humans, animals cannoy say what is wrong with them. The diagnosis has to be spot on.

Back to my lad, he had half a tin last night and half this morning of special food and ate it straight down which is good & took his tablets with no problem. He is a lot more lively this morning as well.

All good stuff.
