Domino's pizza finger test

It's been a while since I've had a Domino's (admittedly back in April!) but the last time I did, probably the best Domino's or if not the best take away pizza I've ever had. I only remember it for holding a record pizza delivery time.

Big thumbs up to the guys at the Lutterworth, Leicester branch - delivered within 10 minutes of ordering via the app during what could have been a busy Two for Tuesday's evening, fresh & piping hot upon arrival, happy chatty delivery driver and the pizza itself was fantastic.

I've also had great experiences with the Wigston branch as well, very pleasant staff when I've been in branch during weekends when I used to live round that way.

We ordered 36 large pizzas from dominos a few weeks ago (stand down at work).

Seeing the guy arrive on site with the back seats of his Golf down because he had pizzas floor to ceiling, was gold :D
 
Amazing how a thread about a pizza shop employee sticking his mitts in a customer's pizza has turned into a pizza appreciation thread

I might have been wrong on where the nearest one is. Turns out there's on in Blyth, possibly ashington too?
 
Whenever I decide to have a Dominos, its pretty much a guarantee that 1. The pizza will give me diarrhoea and 2. Will probably be of poor quality and leave me cursing never to order again! Its a vicious cycle that I just cant break dammit :p
 
For me, having an argument with a takeaway usually means that I will never buy from again for the reasons people mention - grudges. My local Dominos is pretty good, always punctual and never had an issue.

The amount of times I have picked up a Pizza in the local supermarket in a massive box, only to find something which resembles a small Naan spills out. :D

I do agree with purchasing a Pizza/Base and adding toppings is the way to go from a cost/satisfaction perspective, but then the whole point of a takeaway is laziness. :cool:

I had one today for my birthday treat. Thank god I didn't read this thread beforehand. LMAO. It was really nice though. Half and half meteor and chicken something.
 
Just ordered a Dominos after this thread made me crave it for about a week ordered 2 large pizzas and one of them that came was a medium cheese and tomato with a completely different address on instead of a large ham and pineapple :mad: so rang the store and told them to send my pizza I ordered back out and he said I would have to give them the cheese and tomato back :eek: so the driver turns up 40 minutes later with my other pizza and try’s to charge me for the whole order again :eek: after much arguing he then took the wrong pizza back off me no apology and then sat on his phone outside for about 5 minutes obviously talking to the manager. Won’t be ordering from them again
