Notice when the CBS reporter pointed out his China travel ban did nothing because it was already too late and also only restricted Chinese nationals and not everyone. He went ballistic because he couldn't refute that and ended up ignoring it.
Indeed it was a good point because if we recall he didnt ban the UK and a few others until weeks later because coincidentally he had business ties there.

Australia did the same. China ban first, then Italy, then a few other countries, then Europe (initially excluding the UK), and then everywhere else including the UK. In that order as the hotspots grew.
IIRC, America banned China, and Australia followed suit about 24 hours after. You perhaps forget that the 5i countries have been in close contact on events and policy approaches from the start.

I stayed up late watching yesterday's briefing, I actually found him offensive. He was aggressive towards female reporters in a way which made me feel uncomfortable. He interrupts literally everyone. He demands to know what news outlet the question is coming from before deciding how to answer.
The whole thing was about self congratulating. Hey look someone said I did a phenomenal job. Phenomenal !.
Have as much debate about conspiracy theories as you like but how anyone can watch that and think his behaviour is acceptable is beyond me.
