im going on a rant now, got an email from Natalie, for parts and repair they want to charge me £254.84 on top of the £1299 for the new laptop.
Natalie said give her some time so she can get the prices down. im not 100% but the prices for the repairs look like a retail price for the parts what do you guys think?
the laptop is in perfect working order just some so called damage to the outer casing. they want to charge me arount £10 for the bezel, when its the same price on ebay, they are charging retail prices for the repair parts, this is a major rip off as far as im concerned.
I would like an official response from MSI on this matter why you as the manufacturer are charging a retail price for your repair parts. For the oem ram hdd dvd ok but for the repair parts which wouldn't have mattered if we could just upgrade the gpu as advertised, this is MSI still trying to make extra money from their screw up.
i wonder if i return it to the reseller would they try to charge me for the repair? when it was sold under false advertising?

[QUOTE="natarie,
Hi, accidental damage is never covered by the warranty. I asked you to wait so that we can try to get a better price for the repair by getting to the bottom of what you mentioned to me in your email with the photos yesterday. If you are happy to accept the charges as they are, I have sent these to you by email. If you would like me to continue with the above, we would appreciate your patience, and 2 working days response time due to communications in different time zones.[/QUOTE]
To be fair I have been asking since monday the 20th for the information, and only today about 1 hour ago did you send me the email with the info. and Poland time difference is only 1 hour, not a major hardship of time zones, unlike mine where i deal with the USA pacific time of 8 hour difference with work, so please 1 hour time difference is a laughable excuse.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not blaming you Natalie, I'm blaming your company MSI.
now for everyone else, im currently on hold with the sales manager from the reseller i originally purchased my laptop, im asking them if they will give me a full refund, without charging me for the repairs as it was mis sold under false advertising, if they will accept it, then I will not pay msi for any repair works and have them ship it back to me, so i can give it to the reseller, and while all that is going on i will buy my new lap an asus rog g752vs while i wait for the shipping and such for the msi gt72 laptop.
I've lost my patience, and i'm tired of MSI taking advantage of this situation.
