What a load of crap these are. Ive gone from a 7800gtx to a 7950gx2.
And now im having frame rate issues. It cant handle Q4 in any res at all. yet benchmark it and u get great results.

Take out my 7950 stick in 7800 All fine.

Reinstall drivers and windows same issues.

Got a new card Same thing again load of crap.

When you go to slizone and register them u get there is no sli in your system.

Another nvidia gimmick.........

Maybe if you listed your full specs, drivers and mobo bios version we might be able to help you solve the problem.

Mines working perfectly, i've gone from 7800GTX>X1900XTX>7950GX2 and 7950GX2 is significantly faster then a 7800GTX, its also quite a bit faster then 7800GTX SLI.... The faults not with the card.. Probably more to do with whats between the keyboard and the chair. ;)

Does framework 1.1 make a differance in online play ?

What is all this stuff about Framework 1.1?

How do I check if I have it?
My games have started to jump since last Microsoft Update.

No... What power supply are you using and also what games are you having problems with in particular or you having issues with all ?

There shouldnt be any SLI options, its enabled by default and is controled by global and game profiles..
Also, if you can download and run 3dmark06 and upload the results and give us a link to it... I would like to see how your card is actually performing

i get 8056 in 3dmark.

Quake4 is my game issue it has massive slowdown online.

I was told its the framework.

Well you should have .net installed anyway for the new control panel... If you don't have it installed try it and see if its makes a difference,,, But I really don't see why it would cause any problems..

Perhaps you might be better off going to a Quake 4 support forum and asking there if its the only game your having issues with...

Works great online here... never drops below 60fps.. usiing .net framework v2.0

Well it ain't the card, mine gets to 60 fps with Ultra setting in Q4 and pretty much stays there, its about 30% faster than my last x1900xtx. TBH Q4 doesn't push the card very hard at all.

I have upgraded to a 7950GX2 from a 1800xt and i am more than impressed with it. Quake 4 runs smooth as silk for me.

Ive deleted the cfg spec file my cfg is sound. if i put in 7800gtx its flying.
I have missed something trying to find out what it is.

M8 there is no way your getting that online. not 2day or 2morrow

May be a long shot, but I seem to recall that some motherboards needed BIOS updates to support the 7950GX2 properly.

Might be a stupid suggestion but what motherboard is the card in, is it an SLI board as I believe you still need the SLI Chipset to run the card properly. If I am wrong on this then I am sure someone will correct me.

No you don't need an SLI chipset just a board that supports the GX2. All the latest boards should support it. :)

If he is getting 8000+ in 3d mark its working properly, the only problem is in quake4.....

There are various bugs with the drivers, i have read that if you change anything on the control panel at all it borks them and you have to unistall them to get it back to normal, but you would see this in 3d mark.
check out nv news forums, a lot of people have these cards there and they helped me get vista rc1 working :D
