Don't you just love it when a plan finally works out? (56k better run away!)

dark_shadow, very nice pal. Keep up the good work.

Wish there was more threads like this starting from scratch. Gives a huge insite into what peoples buying along with gorgeous photographs! nice work.

Hey DS, what's that white card with the shiny shiny EMI filters? TV card?

<edit> teaches me for just looking at the nice pictures and ignoring the text...

Maybe time to swap the x1950 now?

Awesome looking rig :)

Thanks guys. It is indeed starting to show its age but it seems to be doing well for me on high settings to date. I may upgrade fairly soon but that involves other implications. For example, assuming the new cards will be bigger or at least the same size it's going to be a very tight fit in my wavemaster and the airflow is already fairly poor on that case!

very nice pics, great angles.. we all love sexy gear shots. I always see these pics of people with their cases smack by them on their desk and wonder if noise is an annoyance being so close to their case sitting at their desks. Putting the case under the desk gets it out the way and reduces heat and noise near you but I suppose that defeats the purpose if your case has a window and lights lol

how is the Terratec 2400i working for you? why did you have to replace it once? do you live in a weak or strong signal area? can you get all the channels with it? is the recording good with it?

sorry for the questions but I bought a azurewave (twinhan) pci-e dual tuner card and haven't had a lot of joy with it. I have an older twinhan pci digital tv card and that seems to work better than the new pci-e one
