Donut Bacon Sandwhich?

More for the laughs haha. I'd eat it for a tenner bet.

Be anywhere nice for dinner recently Craig and can recommend a decent place to eat? Not posh and not cheap either.

I'm also in NA btw.

Theres a new place called Si! in Irvine thats pretty good. Or the Waterside Inn just outside Seamill is good. Or The Coran Inn in Saltcoats :)

I think all 3 of those cover the "not posh but not cheap" range :D

Si get's terrible reviews on Trip Advisor, seriously put me off. Have you eaten there? I drive past it most days and it certainly looks OK from the outside, but looks can be deceiving.

I've been meaning to try the Waterside Inn, car parks always busy. I've never heard of the Coran Inn. I'll take a peak at that.

Cheers.

The best place I've eaten is Addesso in Irvine. It's so underated and very small, only seating a handful. Their food was amazing and reasonably priced. It's been 4 years or so since I've been, but I'm sure the standards still decent. Worth a try if you haven't already.

I have mate, wouldn't have recommended it without knowing it was good from experience. I'm even going back there for lunch at the weekend for my birthday :D

The Waterside is also excellent. Been to that loads of times.

I read your review on trip advisor. I'll give it a go in the next week and let you know how I get on. I'm hard to please, but I'm sure it'll be good.

Cheers again.

MaccyD's chezboigur wif un doonut.

I am temped to go on a run, get some krispy kremes, normal maccy d's cheeseboigers and cook up some streaky bacon.

Closest krispy kreme is a fair while away though...

Again, a sugary doughnut and an egg! I just can't get my head around how anyone could find that appetising.

But it is the same as ham and pineapple on a pizza, sweet and savoury.
Or pork and apple sauce, or turkey and cranberry sauce, or peanut butter and jelly (jam) sandwich.

Personally I don't like those things, but I think millions worldwide like them so there must be something good about them.

Ok, Sainsbury's didn't have any glazed doughnuts left.. so I had to improvise and buy sugared ring doughnuts instead hahaha. I have no idea how this is going to turn out/taste!

I dont see the fascination with Krispy Kreme donuts either,

The one around here is always busy, i tried them when they first opened, bought a 12 pack to share but after 2 I felt sick.
