No you can combine the two, they work together. Just be careful, that if you plan on having 4 cards together that you have enough room below the last card in the system you are building to have an outlet coming out from under the bottom card. You will probably be ok with the MM case. I need to check some pics of them and get back to you.

The reason I mention it is because the EK blocks are amongst the thickest, you really need two slots between cards to use them because by the time you add fittings as well you can run out of space. But then again you might be fine. (going to check pics)

Cheers for that figured it would be a shame not to finish em 'orf with a little shiny. Will be able to check everything before i get cracking by end of next week all should be here.
If the space did become an issue i could go with those rather snappy bits power compression fittings they look magnifico :)

Hi joeyjojo, just waiting on some bits to arrive before i decide on the colour scheme. The case will stay white, the fan grilles and fan controller knobs/silver buttons will probably go a matt red colour to go with the red tubing.

Fear not Mr dekez sah i am closer to sanity than most might think.
Have started from the ground up in preparation for the new machines and have an electrician in, those who have visited will know the problems i was having it was not pretty. Hopefully by the time he is done i will have the computer room on a ringmain of its own, not sure how the machines will react in regard to leakage when the trip switches go in but hey ho am going to do this right one way or t'other. :)

Mountain Mods dispatched the replacement back panel and 2 x sr-2 trays in sky white today fingers crossed middle of next week and teh trusty screwdriver will be ready and waiting.

Panels are stuck firm in the hands of HM Customs and Excise, they're sheets of metal not fissionable material for crying out loud :(

Will start off by loosing the 2 illuminated switches and going for a plain look.

Am having a good mooch about but cant see much, am quite keen on covering the screw thread on the case internal might try tubing any ideas?
