Doom 3 worth it ?

You have your opinion, it's wrong though. I must have watched Alien when I was about 10 so I think the typical jump out "boo I'm a zombie" thing in Doom is hardly brown pants worthy.

It wasn't for me, either. That said, if you had a decent setup the atmosphere in Doom was far, far better than in HL2 :p

I didn't even need a good sound setup to enjoy Doom 3. The atmosphere it creates hasn't been matched to this day. It actually feels like you're alone and trapped on Mars.

I can't wait for Doom 4. Quake 4 was pretty "meh" though - not bad, but not too good either.

1. yes, since it's cheap enough.

2. yes you need to edit the .cfg file and manually set it for your res.

3. yes
