Door Lock

I have used a door planer before, but never sanded to fit, I'm sure the effect is much the same. Make sure the sand paper is wrapped around a large sanding block otherwise you'll end up with a wonky finish.

Sanding the door will take forever. The only tool you would use for fitting a door lock out of those you have bought is the chisel.

Someones been shopping

1. Tool Bag
2. 3 Files
3. Spirit Level
4. 20MM drill bit for wood
5. 2 Pairs of gloves
6. 40pack of sand paper, (5 corse, (60), 10 course (100) 10 course (150))
7. Chisel (20mm)
8. Dust Masks.

, Shall i start with 60 grit sand paper and work to 150?

Use a plane

I knew i wanted a lock, but i didn't know what type of lock and advice. Jees, don't like it - please don't post.

Soap? on a door?!

"Any ideas on what the best solutions is, needs to be lockable from the inside and outside."

You clearly did know what type, if you'd gone to the shops before posting you would have found the correct type of lock. It just makes me despair the way people don't have a try before they ask about the most obvious of things.
