bring on sunbrun HA

There's some nice bands there this weekend.

I'm completely shocked at Alice In Chains place on the bill though. I'd have thought they'd have been way higher up the bill... either supporting headliner or headlining themselves.

Tis criminal... :o

Urmmm, I just saw a big 'Down' banner on the main stage from the webcam

sorry for the first ones being rubish quality, they are zoomed loads..... the last lot are at start of day when was by barrier :)

before metallica my mate started a bottle war.... like the biggest bottle war ever and i cut my head open :D blood dripping down my face and stuff so if any of you saw a guy with blood it was me :p

Oh my god, for those of you that were there last night you will know what i'm talking about, Metallica played an absolute awesome set last night at Download.

As it is the 20th Anniv of Master of Puppets, they played the whole album in full! The crowd were going mad any way but when this was announced the whole place went mental.

The whole show was a good two hours long and was just amazing from start to finish.

I'm home a happy man :D

Saturday was awsome :D

Metallica stole the show, followed very closely by A7X.. Trivium did nothing for me at all I'm afraid, and I like them! :(

Re: Bottle War

Absolutely stupid

I grabbed 3 people and demanded that they empty the bottles of water before they threw them

And if you saw the guy in the superman shirt on the bank?.. me and a bloke in the orange San Quinton shirt were the 2 people that walked up the bank and smacked him about a bit, after he decided that it was fun to wrap rocks up in icecream packets and hurl those at people.

Asside from the needless bottle fight, the fact that the water queue was out of control, and Metallica were an hour late, it was an awsome day :D

Thats the problem if you just throw bottles its not too bad but you get ******* idiots throwing them while there full and with stones in etc etc etc

On a good note well, im gutted I didnt come saturday but then I would have only been there for Arch Enemy and 'tallica.

God Forbid, Mendeed, In Flames and BFMV were all superb today! shame God Forbid and In Flames both had crap slots :(

OMG LORDI OMG :D :D :D

they ******* rocked :O i was on barrier :D ....ill up the pics to my website in a sec

imo they were the second best band in terms of performance

*edit*
