download feastival 2006

i went to '04 and '05, but this year the weekend falls right in the middle of exam fortnight - over all i think this years line up looked pretty good, fri/sat in particular - though g&r to headline sunday? it's not something i'd pay £50 for a 'day ticket' to see.
but to all of you going, enjoy it, i am jealous
 
mate, it falls directly in my 2nd year uni exams, got an exam on the thursday and another on the monday, im still goin to go tho

rock out in style, theres always resits :D!
 
I want to go to Download again this year but I'm not sure if I want to camp or travel each day. Hmm decisions...? I sure hope they have the England vs Paraguay game on a big screen on the Saturday. That will be awesome.

also see they've changed the date for prodigy to the sunday, means i dont have to rush over to metallica :D
 
ive been the past few years not attending this festival this year..i dont think so... security are bunch of fools :/ and also lineup aint too good in my eyes.

to be fair it sounds like you did a lot of stupid stuff
i work for the company who do security for the festival, and ok it sounds like it went **** up restraining you, but still

employ proper security not police wannabes.

but you shouldnt start fights with security, they're doing their job and you started kicking off
not sure where police wanabees comes from, it is their responsibility to remove you using reasonable and neccessary force and hand you over to the police if it merits it, like i say they should never have strangled you but everything else sounds above board

number one, i didnt wanna fight them, they asked for it, for man handling me... idiots. and yes there police wannabes, thinking there the law when there not, theres police on site.
 
to be fair, you went over and started kicking a fence. doesn't sound like something you'd do completely sober... and therefore i think we can reasonably assume that is entirely possible you were more aggressive than you'd ordinarily be. yeah, they shouldn't strangle you... but you also shouldn't be kicking in a fence.

Why can't music, just be about the music?!

It's always about commercial, kids blah blah...Sheesh.

I like FFAF over BFMV for the music, I don't care what kids are attracted to them!
